photo credit: Jessica Ballard Suzanne Aulds is a professional Artist known for her elegant still lifes. She enjoys all mediums but prefers oil paints for their luminosity and saturation. Suzanne studied privately as a teenager and then majored in fine arts, painting, at the Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating summa cum laude.  

Ms. Aulds was raised with an appreciation for nature and a love of beauty, which today translates into her paintings. “I particularly love the genre of still life because I can create my own artistically challenging compositions.”  Ms. Aulds has received numerous awards for her work, due to her unusual combinations of beautiful color, varied surfaces, and patterned design. 

Ms. Aulds minored in Portrait Arts in college and continues to express her love for this genre through her paintings and drawings, often working on portrait commissions.

Suzanne’s work graces the walls of homes and businesses throughout the United States and Canada. She is an exhibiting member at the Charleston Artist Guild Gallery in Charleston, SC.  When not painting, she loves to read and write. Originally from Montreal, Canada, she now resides in Summerville, SC, with her husband, Wayne, and her poodle, Hannah.
